PERSONALITY
In the Barn
A true stud through and through despite only being a 2 year old colt, Prince Gamble or "Ram" (as he's known around the barn) has quite the temperment. He rear and bucks occasionally when he's fresh out of his stall in the morning. His handlers are always wearing protective gear around him, and he often jigs like he's a breeding stallion. When he's fresh in the morning, he's an extreme handful for the barn staff. He's tried to bite a couple of handlers before, and only the experienced staff at Cherrystone are allowed to handle this rambunctious 2 year old around the stable and the training track.
On The Track
While Ram might be a fireball in the barn, once he gets to the track he is all business. He knows the difference between a training track and the real deal. He is a front-runner, and tries to get to the front of the pack as soon as he breaks from the gate. If he's not in the front of the pack, he will fuss a little bit and try to yank the reins from his jockey's hands. Once he's in his prime spot, he settles and has a lengthy stride that covers the ground quickly. His ears are normally pinned backwards, listening to his jockey while he runs with a ground-eating stride.
